Comprehensive rehabilitation of a historic townhouse converted into a residential complex of four apartments, including one duplex. The intervention combined heritage preservation with the introduction of new structural and construction solutions.

The rear extension, achieved through a new reinforced concrete structure, allowed for the optimisation of the layouts of the different units, while the entire existing building was also rehabilitated with the addition of new metal structures and laminated wood elements for reinforcement and stability. On the exterior, the use of traditional Portuguese cobblestone paving, railings, and gates preserved the traditional character of the townhouse.
